| John and I were partners in the 28th Pct. and in OCCB/Narco. I was by his side when he passed. He was a happy and fun guy to work and socialize with. I miss him dearly. I know he is a true angel of god. | ||||

| Johnny was my best friend until I left NY in 1972. My mom was dying and he just held me together. He was always the Good Guy, a cut-up with Godly principles. I always wanted to play basketball with him, I hope they have hoops in Heaven. See you there Johnny! Brian Forrest | ||||

| John and I worked together in MNND. A great guy was taken too early in his life. I was the delegate for the commamnd at the time. I am very happy that his family was well taken of. God Bless, John. | ||||

| On April 16, 2009 I did the NYPD memorial walk with my mother in rememberance for my father, John Clonan. Before the walk, i met some of my Dad's friends who he worked with. They were a bunch of good guys. If any of my dads friends that worked with him ever want to meet up for dinner in NYC, My brother and I would love it. My cell # is 914-224-7278. My name is keith and my brother is chris.IF anything I will see you next year at the walk. We would of done for the 9 years, but never knew a walk existed. Thank yoo very much. | ||||

| Although I did not know "Uncle Johnny," I know he was a good man, great man even, and always had purpose in his life - and positively affected the lives of others, including my father, Tommy Clonan. I just happened to stumble upon this page, but I am very happy to see people honoring him so far along after his passing. My father would be very happy to know this. If anyone would like to get in contact, feel free to call my cousins above, Chris and Keith, or email me at kclonan709@aim.com. God bless! | ||||
