I was the patrol sergeant in the 73pct when I received the 10-13 off duty mos shot on the way to Brookdale Hosp.I responded to the E.R.where I found the officer being worked on.I watched the doctors as they tried but it was too late. A doctor walked up to me and said to me I believe this belongs to you and handed me Officer Holmes shield. Can never forget. RIP my friend&brother.
