Rest in peace brother.
— JOM

Anton, I remember when I first met you at your cousin's house. You were a mighty oak in uniform. You dad taught me how to clam in Kings Park, NY. Four years after your passing I joined the NYPD and a short time later so did my brother Dennis. Throughout our careers we were always alert to the hazards of carbon monoxide poisoning in radio cars. The publicity and investigation of your untimely death caused the city to place warning stickers on all the windows of the radio cars. These stickers cautioned to keep the window cracked at all times. They are a living memorial to you and continue to warn our brothers of this hazard. May you rest in eternal peace brother. I will never forget you.

Anton~~ I was 16 yrs old when you died. Little did I know that in the coming years, I too would become one of NY's Finest. I always made a point of keeping those RMP windows opened a bit, no matter how cold it was outside, because I always remembed the tragic way we lost you. Even today,in my own car, I have the window opened a little. You are not forgotten. Dennis C Retired NYPD
