| Norman K. Dixon had two grandsons (myself- Richard O. Dixon) and my brother James C. Dixon who both retired from the NYPD as detectives. His granddaughter, Misty Gardner, is currently a police officer with the United States Park Police. | ||||

| Any relation to Richard O. Dixon, who died in a car accident in 1970? He had 2 sons, and one daughter. | ||||

| My father was also named Norman K. Dixon. He grew up partly in NYC and he also had a career in law enforcement in Texas. The descendants of the two Norman K. Dixons may not be related, but I feel a special kinship with them. | ||||
