| I remember John while working as a Sgt "uptown". He was the regular ESU guy who came out to help on any one of our numerous "capers". He was always professional and capable and a real help to the community. We have all lost a good friend in John. Rest in peace. | ||||

| John was my partner for a night in the 34 pct in the late 80's, we were assigned foot in a heavy area, definitely felt safer that night to have John Dallara and an ESU truck parked nearby. God Bless John Dallara. | ||||

| I remember John in the Police Academy, NSU, and with ESU Truck #2. He responded to numerous requests for everything from armed gunman to weapons search for the 33rd Det Squad and was always a true professional. God Bless you John, and thank you. | ||||

| I have known John from my early days as a rookie in the 46 and have worked with him as a detective. If John showed up with truck 2 to any of our jobs he would not leave until it was over. He was a great cop who I think of often. Rest in peace brother, and thank you for all the help along the way. | ||||

| I knew John in 1982, when we taught together at Park West HS. John only wanted to serve the people of NY. When you think about public service, John couldn't be beaten. He loved his family and his city. John was, and is NY's finest! | ||||
