| I first met Bobby in the Police Academy. Bobby was a good cop and a really nice person. I hope his family knows that we all still miss Bobby to this day, and will never forget him. | ||||

| Every day I set aside time to speak with Bobby,I have always believed he is still with us.Especially when I was on job or needed a partner to back me up.on 9/20/03 my daughter was married. Two days prior we were hit with hurrica Isabell no power , trees down and all roads blocked to hall I reached out to Bobby and of course Mom for help, all seem to be hopeless.A half hour before the ceremony , the skys were sunny , all power was restored and roads were cleared. Bobby will never leave my familys side, he will always be watching over us , Bobby thanks for being a great brother and protector . We will always miss you and never be forgotten,You are our HERO . speak to you soon your brother Richard | ||||

| bobby mandel was a good cop and a good friend,we worked together for many years in the 77. i visited the national memorial and took a stencil of his engraving. it sits on a place of honor in my home with the names of too many other friends. excuse me while i still cry at the loss of so many friends and acquaintances during our time. my love to bobbys wife and family.. he is remembered often. i'd like to see more of his 77 comrades write something. | ||||
