| I knew Bob when he worked in the 103Pct. Bob was a great guy, always had a smile and a good word for you. I still mourn him to this day. Rest in Peace Bob, until we meet again and have a beer! | ||||

| This is my uncle, my mother's brother. Of the four suspects jailed for his murder, three have since died in prison. The fourth, Russell Carrol, is slated for a parole hearing in February 2005. I am in the process of asking people to write letters to the parole board to keep this man in prison, as I will be writing some myself and also starting a petition to keep this man in prison. He was sentenced for 25 years to life, and I don't think that serving the minimum warrants freedom. Please contact me at my email address if you would like to assist me in my efforts. If you would like to write letters to the parole board, I can provide an address, or you can forward them to me and I can take care of the postage. My family and I thank you.--Leann | ||||

| I went through the Academy with bob,and served In the 103 Pct. with him.Not only was he a great guy, he was a great fisherman as well. I teamed up with him in the radio car on occassion and during the lulls in the action we would talk about fishing.I mourn his death today as I did when he was murdered. I also cherish the memory of those tours that we rode together. You are still missed. | ||||

| I was a detective 106 Commnand when Richie got it.My Captain boss had the duty so he asked me to drive him to St.John's Emergency Room .A so tough scene ensued there I will not dwell on except to say suspected his gun shot wounds would were in killing locations. His color was good and he was providing detectves information quite. verbally. Not long later ran into the doc who operated on him .Turned out he lived in my neighborhood. He told me he tried so hard to save Richie. I experienced tough things South Bronx but seeing Richie knowing he was going down hurt so bad . | ||||
