| I worked with Harry, he was a staandup guy & was always there when a call went out from a brother or sister officer needing help. He was a calm soothing guy who made you relaxed when he was around you. One of the nicest guys i ran into on the job, I'm sure that at this moment, he has someone watching over him.. rest in peace Harry | ||||

| I met Dot Ryman and her daughters when I would drive them to various Honor Legion functions for surviving spouse and families. I never knew Harry personally, but being there for his family gave me a special feeling. To Harry's daughters, it was fun driving you and Mom home in the van. We had good laughs. Harry and Dot RIP | ||||

| I never worked with Officer Ryman, I wasn?t on the job during the time he was killed. But while I had a brief assignment in the 60 Pct I asked a friend (Officer Charlie Giuffre) who Officer Ryman was and how he died. Charlie told me how he died and what kind of a brave Gentleman Harry was. His plaque, across from The Desk, inside the 60, will inspire lots of young officers to ask about Harry ? like I did. I?m sure there will always be senior MOS in the 60 that will know his story and pass it on. May God bless you Harry. May God Bless you Charlie. Det. Milton Rosario (Ret) | ||||

| I worked with Harry in 60 Anti Crime, along with Phil Ferrante. He loved his job and was a great guy. I remember that he had just got a new car, I think it was an Audi. He loved that car. He died doing one of the things he loved, being a cop. I'll never forget the day we were notified of his death. | ||||

| I worked with Harry in the 60th precinct and we just started to socialize outside of the job. We had gone to a Steuben party with our wives and enjoyed each others company when he was taken from us. His calm demeanor and friendship is surely missed. Paul Blum | ||||

| I worked with Harry in the 60 anti crime. He was one of the best I ever worked with. I was on vacation and received a phone call in the early morning from Joe Kobel who informed me that Harry had been shot and was in KCH.I went to KCH and Harry had passed. What a tremendous loss to his family, friends and coworkers.Dottie and his children were denied the love and caring from Harry. Harry was truly a great person and a great cop. Truly an honor to work with him. | ||||

| I remember the day Our Good Lord Above called Officer Ryman home. My dad whom was on the job at the time went to the ryman home and hospital. The Ryman family and the community lost a true great man. I was blessed to have known the Ryman family and go to school with them. True outstanding family. When I joined the Police Department 3 years after Officer Rymans murder, Officers from his and surrounding precincts would still emotionally and lovingly be sharing stories of what a great, great man Officer Harry Ryman was. God Bless the Ryman family as his anniversary of being called home approaches. May God always hold you close. God Bless you all... | ||||
